Laura (Ashburn) Breece graduated from Purdue University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in
Communication, specializing in Broadcast Journalism & Media.
Through a career spanning athletics, the arts, and education, Laura was always taking pictures. In
addition to creating portraits of children and families for over 20 years, she has also enjoyed
creating unique imagery of the performing arts, sports, and senior photography. She is becoming
known for her innovative wedding coverage and is sought after for her dance photography. In her
free time, she can be found choreographing for community theatre and traveling the country.
Laura has volunteered her photojournalism skills to assist numerous not-for-profit organizations
and schools throughout her career. She has traveled widely, bringing a capable sensitivity to
on-location shoots.
Flexible and resourceful, Laura can create a once-in-a-lifetime photography experience wherever
she lands. Composition, lighting, and posing are only part of a successful shoot; nurturing and
creating rapport with a subject is a key component. As a mother and educator, she has a gift for
connecting with a subject to generate something special and unique. Laura and her associate staff
of stylists, album designers, lab technicians, and makeup artists work together to make your shoot
